The Muskoka Lakes Public Library is excited to offer a new series of six adult art classes with professional artist Nancy Gray Ogle. Commencing Thursday, January 27 individuals can learn techniques with acrylics, watercolour and pastels, drawing and shading, proportion, realism, and portraiture. The classes will be small and intimate allowing for individual instruction for all skill levels from the beginner want-to-be artist to the experienced artisan looking for another learning opportunity. Each individual workshop will commence at 1:30 and last approximately two hours. Some materials will be available from the artist to use but students, for the most part, are asked to supply their own materials and easel or drawing board. It promises to be a wonderful way to spend winter afternoons! As space is limited, and to keep the intimacy of the classes, participant are encouraged to sign up quickly. Contact the library for subject matter for particular dates as applicants can choose to sign up for all six classes or individual classes at $30 per class. Phone Nancy at 705-764-0212 to register or for more information.
